The recycling schedule will shift to the next day during the week of the Christmas Day Holiday starting on
Wednesday, December 25th.
Below are the dates for those affected.

Recycling Schedule for Week of Christmas Day Holiday 2024

With the holiday in mind, we also encourage residents to:
Empty & rinse all bottles and cans (Do NOT crush).
Remove all Styrofoam and packaging materials from cardboard boxes.
Empty, flatten, & fold cardboard before recycling.
Never bag recycling! Bagged recycling will not be collected.

Residents are reminded to please have all cardboard empty, flattened, and folded before placing it in your recycling container.

All recycling containers must be placed curbside by 6am on your scheduled recycling day to ensure collection.

Recycling will be picked up every other Thursday except for holidays which will be noted on the schedule and calendar.  Always set your cart curbside by 6am.  Recycling will be picked up curbside by the Occupational Training Center (OTC).  Their hotline number is 609-267-6889.

 

You must carefully follow the recycling guidelines.  You will need to try your cart collection for at least 2 full collections cycles; if one cart is not enough you may request an additional cart at 609-758-2522 x241 or email: clerk@northhanovertwp.com. 

 

CURBSIDE RECYCLING IS PROVIDED BY A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN YOUR TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE AND THE BURLINGTON COUNTY BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDERS.   

All residents are required to recycle their household trash. Residents are NOT required to have an annual sticker to recycle.  

Some items not accepted can be taken directly to the County Landfill and discarded.  Visit the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex Website for more information.

Effective April 1, 2020.  Hermans Landscaping will no longer be accepting Brush, Leaves or Christmas Trees at their facility.  Residents are encouraged to bring Brush Disposal to North Hanover Township's Waste Facility during normal business hours.  Commerical Disposal will not be permitted. Brush Disposal will not be accepted in Plastic Bags or Containers.  Flyer
